Veeva Project Manager - Pharmaceuticals - Washington - 12-Month Contract

Our client, a global biotechnology organisation, are recruiting for a Project Manager to join their team in the construction of their new biopharmaceutical production plant. This new build facility will be vital vehicle in helping our client continue global access to life changing therapeutics.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Partner with Quality, Technical Operations, Finance, Learning and Development (L&D) and other company functions to understand objectives, priorities and to assist in development of business capability roadmaps with IS Business Partners
- Collaborate with IT teams, internal business partners, and vendors to identify, implement, and support new business capabilities.
- Resolve incidents and requests reported by end users.
- Liaise with vendor and internal Technical Support teams to determine and implement incident resolution in a timely manner.
- Drive and coordinate system changes and upgrades to minimize impact to ongoing projects and resources, ensure testing is conducted and facilitate communications.
- Monitor service agreements with system vendors.
- Foster positive and productive relationships with business & IT stakeholders, and vendors, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, partnership, and teamwork through good and consistent management principles.
- Build and maintain support processes, procedures, meetings and reports.
- Define, maintain and measure support efficiency and effectiveness with SLAs and KPIs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience supporting enterprise-wide systems in a Business Analyst and / or Technical role, with implementation and operations support experience within the Pharmaceutical IndustryExperience of QMS systems and processes (CAPA / Deviation, Complaints, Supplier, Audit, Document Control and Change Management) within or for a pharmaceutical company.Knowledge of Veeva Systems (advantageous)Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (particularly in the Pharma industry)Experience as System Owner for GxP systemsMaintains knowledge of cGxP, IS Compliance, IS Security, SOX, data privacy & integrity, and other risk management considerations, and ensures they are embedded in projects and operationsKnowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality Systems, Computer system / software validation, agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Management methodologies and ITIL service management framework.Service’ mentality, recognizing and promoting the value that technology can provide to customers.If this role is of interest to you, please apply now!
