Positions & Duties
The total salary range for Senior Analyst classification is $102,800.88 - $125,252.40. This amount includes an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable pay. Actual salary shall be determined by the final candidates’ qualifications and experience.
The Police Department is recruiting for a Senior Analyst to accelerate Departmental efforts in achieving measurable and sustainable progress to advance racial equity and reimagining public safety efforts.
This is a limit-dated position that is anticipated to be funded through June 30, 2024, subject to further extension as appropriate. However, should this position be discontinued through the budget process, the City may seek to place you in other internal job opportunities based on your previous work experience.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education : Completion of a Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in business or public administration or in a closely related field.
Experience : Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in general management / administrative analytic work in the areas of personnel, budget, grants, fiscal and / or organizational methods analyses including general staff analytical work.
Acceptable Substitution : One (1) year of additional education above the Baccalaureate Degree level may be substituted for one year of the required management / administrative analytic work.
Licenses or Certificates : Possession of a valid California driver's license.
Background : Submit to a personal background investigation as required by the Police Department
