Seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer to join our growing Downers Grove / Lisle, IL team! The ideal candidate will come from a heavy industrial background (oil & gas, chemical plant, refineries, etc.) and will have an IL PE.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US and will not require current or future sponsorship.

Job Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Lead field evaluation of existing structures.
  • Develop calculations and analytical models in steel, concrete, and other materials.
  • Lead the design of structural rehabilitation and / or replacement plans.
  • Specify materials and lead the development of reports.
  • Technical support for structural construction.
  • Client interface, proposal, and estimate development.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor of Science in Civil / Structural Engineering.
  • Experience : Yr = 8+.
  • Licensure : P.E. Required.
  • Technical Skills : Extensive knowledge of STAAD / SAP, AISC, AISC, AWS required.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred.
  • Management : Client interface and team mentoring experience preferred.
  • Other Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills.
