Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Chemical Manufacturing Engineer to oversee and optimize departmental operations while driving technical excellence within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution to ensure the successful startup and sustained performance of new process units. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing Safety Quality Delivery and Cost for a new process startup.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Process Safety Leadership : Apply advanced technical expertise and analytical skills to implement and uphold Process Safety Management (PSM) standards in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Process Optimization : Lead comprehensive troubleshooting efforts and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Innovative Problem Solving : Develop and propose creative solutions to address complex manufacturing challenges leveraging technical knowledge and cross-functional collaboration to navigate interdependent production cycles.
• Mentorship and Team Development : Serve as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues fostering skill development facilitating consensus and guiding team members toward shared goals.
• Change Management : Oversee and facilitate effective management of changes driven by unit requirements ensuring alignment with safety quality and operational standards.
• Technical Training : Lead or support the delivery of technical training programs for operators enhancing their understanding and proficiency in process operations.
• Process Improvement Initiatives : Identify and initiate projects aimed at improving process performance reliability and efficiency while driving measurable results.
