Major Functions :

Are you ready to take on a vital role in keeping our airport secure and operating smoothly? We’re looking for a motivated professional to join our team in a position that combines technical expertise with real-time problem-solving.

This is technical and specialized work in which employees provide airport security services. Work involves monitoring and enforcing day-to-day security at the airport facility and coordinating the response to airport emergencies—which may include periods of high stress. Work is reviewed through conferences, reports, and by observations of results achieved.

What You Will Do :

  • Operate a variety of airport systems, including surveillance, access control, fire alarm, flight information, communications, and building management.
  • Enforce curbside parking rules and ground transportation operations.
  • Issue Notices of Violation (NOVs) and parking citations when necessary.
  • Conduct fingerprint-based criminal history records checks for airport employees requesting unescorted access to secured areas.
  • Provide dispatch services and coordinate police, fire, EMS, and airport operations responses to both emergency and non-emergency situations.

Minimum Training & Experience

Possession of an associate’s degree in aviation management, business administration, criminal justice or a related field;

Two years of experience that includes airport operations, airline operations, public safety communications, or military service;

Possess a High School Diploma or GED;

At least four years of experience that includes airport operations, airline operations, public safety communications, or military service

Necessary Special Requirements

In accordance with 49 CFR Part 1542, employees must successfully complete a fingerprint-based criminal history records check and personal background check prior to employment.

Salary Range

15.5059 to $42.0765 / hourly. Hiring rate generally will not exceed $24.1864 / hour

Driver's License Requirements

Must possess a valid Class-E State driver's license at the time of appointment.
