Job Title : Structural Engineer
Job Description
The position is an integral part of the Stations Structural department, where you will collaborate with senior engineers to complete projects with minimal supervision. You will work alongside in-house, client engineers, and designers to support critical engineering initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design support structures, systems, and equipment adapters based on electrical arrangement and site information.
- Utilize computer software, such as LPile, to design necessary foundations like piers and slabs.
- Develop civil scopes by collaborating with electrical designers on one-line diagrams, electrical arrangement drawings, and site drawings.
- Review structural design drawings and project documents to ensure compliance with design theory and structural codes.
- Make recommendations for improving structural designs and documents.
- Coordinate with project managers and designers to verify project schedules and ensure timely steel delivery.
- Create material requisitions and liaise with steel fabricators to verify lead times and costs.
- Travel to project sites for walk-arounds and assist with field construction issues.
- Answer design and detail questions from electrical designers, fabricators, and construction personnel.
- Coordinate with electrical designers and structural team members for project submissions.
- Provide input to routine construction documents related to project schedules.
- Work under the supervision of higher-level engineers and conduct occasional site visits.
Essential Skills
Minimum of five years of experience in structural engineering, analysis, and foundation work.Experience completing engineering projects from start to finish for at least five years.Five years of experience in scoping, estimating, and ordering materials for structural or civil projects.Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.Proficiency in design engineering and structural design.Additional Skills & Qualifications
A Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution will count towards years of experience.A Professional Engineer (PE) License is highly desirable.Experience with STAAD software is desirable.Work Environment
The candidate must be based in the Denver area and will be required to meet with the client approximately one to two times per month. This position involves working closely with various teams and requires occasional site visits.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Collins, Colorado
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00 / hr.
