We are looking for an dynamic, energetic and ambitious Environmental Health & Safety Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Global Director of EH&S for Superior Essex, directly supporting all Essex Brownell facilities’ to provide technical consultation, support, and guidance to leadership and team members on safety, occupational health, environmental matters and product compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Proven process orientation, an ability to work in an environment that is multi-faceted and fast-paced. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, strong math aptitude and the ability to be self- driven and work independently. A superior track record of trust and confidentiality is required; position will handle highly confidential information.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
BS / BA degree required; prefer a degree in engineering or a science related field. A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience required as a Safety and Environmental Coordinator.
COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS : Excellent skills in Microsoft Office required, strong information systems aptitude.
