Position Summary

This position is for a part-time Event Staff (Usher, Ticket Scanner & Door Guard) for events at the Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center. Hours vary and are driven by the event schedule. Most events happen during evening hours and on weekends. We are looking for someone to join our team of Event Staff, take charge and show up for every shift with a great attitude to create the best show every time! Be the primary contact with the guests at the facility. Required to have knowledge of the building and its services also to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the building patrons.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.50

About the Venue

Federal Way Performing Arts & Event Center opened August of 2017 as the premier South King County center for arts & entertainment. The 718-seat, two-tiered theatre hosts a variety of national performers, community events and education programs for all ages. Located just 20 minutes south of SeaTac, the venue is perfect for business, educational, and private events including full-service trade shows, corporate trainings, conventions, meetings, and banquets.

Responsibilities

• Must be available for at least ½ of all events occurring within each month
• Experience in customer service
• Ability to manage high stress situations
• Able to be on feet for long periods of time
• Able to work a variety of events including children's shows, theatre performances, and loud concerts
• Must have a pleasant and outgoing personality
• Must be friendly, courteous and polite with a positive attitude
