About The Position

Job Title : Sterile Processing Tech

Profession : Surgical Services

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : Minimum of 3+ years of Sterile Processing experience is required.

License : Texas state license is required.

Certifications :

• CBSPD C.F.E.R. (Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing)
• HSPA CER (Certified Endoscope Reprocessor)

Must-Have : Endoscope certification is required.

Description :

SPT Endo specific equipment experience is required.

Endoscope certification is mandatory.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of Sterile Processing Tech experience or 3+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 months of frequent high-volume Endo Processing experience within the last 12 months.

Experience must be reflected in the candidate's work history.

Acute hospital experience is preferred.

Familiarity with various scopes, including bronchoscope, colonoscope, cystoscope, and others, is important.

High-level disinfection and scope / probe reprocessing skills are necessary.

Candidates must be able to work well under pressure in a busy environment.

Preference will be given to those with trauma experience and familiarity with charting systems.

Verification of a full work history including gaps is required.

Travelers are expected to be flexible with their schedules.

Travelers may be required to wear a mask if not vaccinated for COVID-19.

Candidates must adapt to policies regarding time off and holiday coverage.
