Hiring a Lab Technician for a Chemistry Lab in Sacramento, CA

About the Role

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Lab Intern to join our Chemistry Department. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a scientific environment, no prior lab experience or degree required. Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily laboratory operations, including sample preparation and basic testing.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety protocols.

Accurately label, store, and track samples and materials.

Support data entry and documentation of test results.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Strong work ethic – ability to stay focused and complete tasks efficiently.

Attention to detail – follow instructions and maintain accuracy in all tasks.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.

Preferred Experience

Experience in food service, manufacturing, or other fast-paced roles is a plus.

Interest in science or learning new technical skills (training provided).

Okay with night shift, day shift, or evening shift. Need flexibility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 / hr.
