Business Process Analyst III - Middle Market Banking

Overview

The Business Process Analyst III is aligned to the Middle Market Banking team and is responsible for assisting the first line risk program with implementing and executing programs to ensure successful implementation and sustained execution. Risk programs include Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Issues Management, Operational Risk Events, New Products & Services, Material Risk Identification, Third Party Risk Management, and Model Risk Management, among others.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Functional Collaboration - Works with respective business process and business teams to assess impact and help facilitate execution of risk programs throughout the business, in partnership with the frontline risk program team. Advises on impacts based on understanding of processes within the Commercial Bank. Provides necessary feedback to support management of risk within Commercial Bank. Partners with the business and frontline risk programs team to help execute the implementation of effective program policies, standards, and procedures. May support more senior-level business process roles in carrying out these functions.
• Process Management / Continuous Improvement - Analyzes and understands processes with Commercial Bank to understand current and future impacts of risk programs. Serves as a business process subject matter expert within the Commercial Bank, providing guidance and process coaching to ensure appropriate and effective collaboration between the BU and the frontline risk program teams. May support more senior-level business process roles in carrying out these functions.
• Risk Management - Maintains an understanding of risk program requirements, regulatory expectations, Commercial Bank's risk environment and risk appetite, as well as related policies, standards and procedures to ensure alignment of Commercial Bank's activities to requirements. May support more senior-level business process roles with carrying out these functions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Risk OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Risk

Other :

If hired in Boston, Massachusetts, the base pay for this position is generally between $75,000.00 and $100,000.00. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and / or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
