Operator Heavy Equipment

The Operator Heavy Equipment is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a recycling center, landfill or transfer station for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading and / or compacting waste or soil in an efficient and safe manner. Principal responsibilities include performing pre- and post-operation inspection of equipment, safely operating equipment such as forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, and front-end loaders, monitoring waste materials, maintaining equipment, completing reports, and adhering to safety policies. Minimum requirements include two years of related experience and one year of experience working at OSHA-regulated sites. Rewarding compensation and benefits are available for eligible employees.
