Important : You will be required to sit, stand, bend, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift; as well as wear personal protective equipment to include : surgical gowns, masks, visors or goggles and caps.

How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success :
As a Processing Technician you will perform all aspects of processing, preservation and storage of tissues in an FDA regulated environment. Works in a team environment under aseptic conditions while performing controlled production processes. Performs quality assessments of tissue products and documentation. Each departmental processing technician position entails a level of complexity that varies based on physical demands, knowledge of human anatomy required, number of graft lines / product families processed, complexity of processes required for proficiency, number and types of equipment operated, degree of manual dexterity and fine motor skills required, and other special needs.
These roles are critical to the LifeNet Health mission because it is an important step in taking the donor's gifts and transitioning them to the lifesaving and health restoring allografts for patients around the globe.
What you'll do as a Processing Technician :
- Tissue Processing : Reviews work orders or processing instructions / scheduling prior to initiating production. Works with production supervisors to adjust plans as needed. Performs all aspects of processing tissue (debridement, dissection, cutting, cleaning and disinfection, sizing, assessing) according to current procedures and protocols. Assists supervisory team in production enhancement and improvement initiatives.
- Packaging : Perform all aspects of packaging and preservation of tissue products (confirmation of sizing, quality, packaging materials, cryopreservation, etc.) according to current procedures and protocols.
- Documentation & Data Entry : Document all processes and functions performed in accordance with all procedures and protocols.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate's qualifications, including prior relevant experience.
