Urology Physician Job Details

Job Title : Locum Tenens Urology Physician

Location : Peoria, IL 61637 (Illinois healthcare jobs)

Assignment Dates : October 16, 2025 – January 15, 2026

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (Clinic or Operating Room)

Call Coverage : 24-hour weekend call and after-hours call during the week (ER and hospital call)

Patient Volume : 18–22 adult patients per day in clinic

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks

Hours per Week : 40

Patient Population : Adults only (no pediatric urology cases)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $10,500–$11,250 per week

Urology Physician Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology (Urology jobs in Illinois)

MD or DO degree required

Active Illinois medical license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) in hand

Minimum 1 year of post-residency clinical experience in urology

Ability to provide consistent weekday coverage for multiple weeks

Urology Physician Responsibilities

Deliver ambulatory clinic support, seeing 18–22 adult patients daily

Perform in-office cystoscopy and standard urology procedures in the OR

Provide hospital call coverage, including 24-hour and emergent care as scheduled

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of urologists and healthcare professionals

Maintain effective communication with hospital staff and referring providers
