Job Title : Data Governance Analyst / Data Quality Analyst

Location : Charlotte, NC or Chicago, and Denver

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Client Industry : Banking

Duration : 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)

About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst with strong expertise in data quality, metadata management, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of driving data governance initiatives independently while collaborating closely with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with enterprise-level and local data governance, data architecture, data engineering, and data quality teams.
• Capture and document the current state of data quality (DQ) controls; define and implement DQ controls to remediate gaps and establish measurement standards.
• Identify, compare, and resolve data quality issues across multiple domains.
• Conduct root cause analysis for data quality errors and recommend sustainable solutions.
• Assess and communicate business impact levels of data quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data quality and governance standards.
• Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective measures to meet quality assurance objectives.
• Present findings, recommendations, and reports to stakeholders using Excel and PowerPoint.

What We re Looking For :

Compensation :

Hourly Rate : $55 $60 per hour

This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
