CNS ER Director

This highly regarded hospital in northwest New Mexico is seeking a CNS (Clinical Nurse Specialist) ER Director for an exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership and guidance in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The CNS ER Director will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive exceptional, evidence-based care while supporting staff growth and development.

The CNS ER Director will join a respected not-for-profit medical center with more than 150 beds and a Level III Trauma designation. The CNS ER Director will report directly to senior nursing leadership and collaborate closely with executive leadership across the hospital. This position provides mentorship and oversight to nursing staff within the Emergency Department, while also working with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care.

The CNS ER Director will oversee the Emergency Department, which serves a diverse patient population with a wide range of critical needs. The CNS ER Director will be responsible for both clinical and administrative leadership within the Emergency Department. On the administrative side, the CNS ER Director will manage operations, staffing, and quality initiatives, while also contributing to budgeting, program development, and physician relations.
