EF Education First is currently looking for an ambitious, driven, and enthusiastic Procurement Associate to join our office in Cambridge, MA.
What you will do :
- Lead the sourcing activities for EF’s external vendor needs in the US, primarily in the technology and software spaces
- Consult with EF business partners to understand each EF Product’s unique needs
- Define and lead the introduction of optimal sourcing methods that balance cost, risk, quality, and speed
- Define and manage the implementation of a procurement process aligned with business priorities, values, and vision
- Define and manage the implementation of effective contract management practices, supplier due diligence, and supplier risk management
- Take ownership for and lead process improvement as part of the procurement transformation plan
- Manage the contract renewal process ensuring contract compliance, business alignment, and procurement best practices
- Leverage data analytics to evaluate supplier performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and inform strategic sourcing decisions.
- Apply data-driven insights to support procurement strategy, enhance contract negotiations, and maximize value from technology investments.
Who you are :
3+ years relevant work experience in procurement and contract managementStrong understanding of procurement processes and principles, commercial and legal constructs, and financial modelsBackground or familiarity in technology is a plus with knowledge and understanding of spend categories such as infrastructure, software licensing and hardware at a technical and market levelSuperb problem-solving and relationship-building skills in complex supplier and internal customer relationship environmentsSelf-promoter able to get others behind them and expand reach within the organizationWell-organized; able to prioritize and manage a changing workload and meet deadlinesSelf-motivation, tenacity, and a focus on deliveryConfidence to work with ambiguity, assess risk and make decisionsWhy you’ll love working here : Perks, Benefits, and more!
