Additional duties may be assigned :
TECHNICAL
Responsible for all production and repair test activities in support of assigned products.Authors or edits procedures and documentation through change management process directly related to products.Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of systems and equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing.Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.Works with assigned operations personnel to establish test plans and supports completion rates for test work cells.Transitions test solutions between factories during product acquisitionsInterfaces with management to present program status, capital requests, or continuous improvement initiatives.Excellent oral and written communication skillsREPORTING
Accountable to proactively communicate all operational and technical risk and opportunities within their business unitProvide regular performance updates to the Engineering ManagerCULTURE
Proactively support the operations build plan by providing technical support that generates productivityMINUMUM EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
4 year degree in a technical discipline; plus a minimum of 8 years direct industry experience as an Engineer, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Must have excellent manual dexterity and hand / eye coordination, able to lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, able to sit and / or stand for long periods of time, and will at times be required to work with some chemical and bonding agents.
