We're actively seeking dedicated Specialized Support Professionals (ASL Fluent) to join our team. This pivotal role involves providing direct support to adults with developmental / intellectual disabilities who use ASL as their primary means of communication.

What the Role Entails :

• Personal Support : Directly assisting residents with activities of daily living.
• Monitoring & Reporting : Diligently observing and documenting daily activities and tracking specific objectives and progress.
• Structured Engagement : Contributing to and participating in structured daily and weekly activities, both within our facilities and in community settings.
• Guardianship & Liaison : Acting as a vigilant advocate for residents' rights and serving as a critical communication link between residents and other facility staff, often utilizing your ASL skills to bridge communication gaps.
• Environment Maintenance : Ensuring a healthy, clean, and comfortable living environment is maintained for all residents.
• Professional Development : Committing to ongoing professional growth through mandatory monthly meetings and in-service trainings, with opportunities to enhance your ASL and support skills.
