Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Aircraft Inspector III to join our client's team in Colorado Springs, CO . Our client is a leading firm in the Aerospace and Defense industry . This is a Contract role offering the opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness and safety of advanced aircraft .
Responsibilities of the Aircraft Inspector III :
Inspect aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts for airworthiness and conformance to specifications.
Identify and document any breaches of airworthiness standards.
Perform in-process and final inspections on minor (non-337 form) work.
Approve minor (non-337 form) work for return to service.
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve inspection findings and ensure compliance.
Qualifications of the Aircraft Inspector III :
Must hold an active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
5+ years of hands-on experience in aircraft inspection or maintenance .
Thorough knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts.
Proficiency in Basic Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) .
Experience with the practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures .
Familiarity with 14 CFR Chapter 1 and FAA Repair Station operations (preferred) .
Strong attention to detail and visual acuity.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills .
