About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Development to lead the general and active management of the hospital foundation's affairs. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Hospital Executive and the Senior Vice President of Healthcare Development to set and achieve fundraising goals, manage financial assets, and ensure that fund allocation is in line with the foundation's mission. Key responsibilities include providing leadership to the Board of Trustees, managing a portfolio of major gift donors, and supervising the foundation staff. The Executive Director will also be involved in strategic event coordination, and will be expected to maintain a high level of visibility and engagement with the hospital's leadership team. Applicants for the Executive Director, Development position at the company should have a minimum of ten years' professional experience in the development field, with a proven track record in securing major gifts and capital campaigns. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and a Master's degree or specialized certification is preferred. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, possess strong communication skills, and have experience in a healthcare environment, particularly within a hospital system.
