System Designer / Engineer

Selectek is hiring a System Designer / Engineer for one of our partnering companies located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Candidates in this role will be focused on systems integration and creation based on clients' project requirements.

Employment Type : Contract-to-Direct (Six month contract period) Location : Cincinnati, OH Expected Pay Range : $37 - $53 per hour before conversion, depending on experience and certification.

Job Requirements :

  • 2+ years of experience in PLC Programming
  • Proficiency with Rockwell / Allen Bradley or Siemens ecosystem - Knowledge of vision platforms (Cognex, Datalogic, etc) and operating systems (Unix, Linux, etc)
  • In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation

Job Duties :

  • Design automation systems and analyze components based on company templates
  • Write system code utilizing diverse programming languages
  • Create technical documentation for design systems
  • Participate in commissioning activities
  • Develop user functional and technical specification documentation
  • Assist with service calls and small quotes

    • Schedule : Monday-Friday, flexible start and end times. Some weekend work may be required depending on project requirements.
