About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Dean for Workforce Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of instructional and management duties, including but not limited to, assisting the Dean with program planning, development, and evaluation, providing site supervision of nursing program activities, and ensuring program compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves maintaining student and faculty documentation, participating in the admission process, and serving on program committees. The Assistant Dean will be expected to maintain a teaching load, ensure timely completion of course and clinical evaluations, and accept other duties as assigned.
Candidates for the Assistant Dean position must have a valid and active Registered Nursing License, with a preference for those holding a master's degree in nursing. A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in nursing programs and 4 years of continuous experience as a registered nurse in direct patient care are required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to diversity. Proficiency in technology and experience in supervision, planning, and budget preparation are also essential. The role demands a collaborative leadership style and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
