Position Summary :
As a leader in this role, you will oversee personnel management, communication, and project management aspects for a construction organization. Your responsibilities will include hiring and developing skilled employees, managing project planning and execution, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, ensuring project quality and client satisfaction, and overseeing the project closeout process.
A Day in the Life of a Project Manager :
1. Begin the day by meeting with the crew to discuss project plans and daily tasks, either in person or virtually.
2. Review and ensure the completion of safety inspections and equipment checks.
3. Monitor job progress, safety, and time approval by checking job photos uploaded online.
4. Approve job time for the team.
5. Visit customer or prospect sites to assess project scope and conduct surveys as needed.
6. Address and respond to questions and concerns from team members, crew, management, and customers throughout the day.
7. Attend scheduled meetings focusing on safety, job planning, and productivity.
8. Make necessary revisions to project plans to keep the project on track.
9. Perform quality control checks on repairs and reroofing projects.
10. Utilize Roof Logic for photo reports and annotate photos accordingly.
11. Conduct material inventory checks to ensure adequate supplies for ongoing projects.
12. Be prepared to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
