Professional Mechanical Engineer

I am currently representing a outstanding engineering firm seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their growing MEP team. This individual will play a key role in the design and coordination of mechanical systems across a wide range of commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. Key Qualifications :

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required

Experience in MEP consulting or building systems design

Strong communication, coordination, and organization skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment

Responsibilities :

Mechanical system design including HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems for new construction and renovation projects

Prepare mechanical engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications

Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and energy evaluations

Conduct field assessments, site visits, and documentation of existing mechanical systems

Coordinate with internal design disciplines along with architects, contractors, and clients

Assist with reports, studies, and technical documentation

Review submittals, shop drawings, and contractor RFIs

Mentor junior engineers and designers as needed

Experience with AutoCAD and / or Revit is a plus
