The Inpatient Pharmacy Manager reports directly to the System Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services, working closely with Pharmacy Directors across the network to align clinical practice and performance standards. The Inpatient Pharmacy Manager oversees Clinical Pharmacy Specialists, Pharmacy Residents, and Pharmacy Students, and also partners with interdisciplinary leaders and medical staff to support high-quality outcomes. This role works side-by-side with clinical teams across departments to support patient care in a Level 1 Trauma environment.
The Inpatient Pharmacy Manager will support a high-acuity inpatient pharmacy department where pharmacists are fully integrated into clinical rounds, respond rapidly to patient needs, and collaborate on real-time interventions. The department reflects the intensity and pace expected in a trauma-designated environment, while also fostering a supportive, team-first culture. The Inpatient Pharmacy Manager will enjoy working alongside experienced clinicians who value evidence-based practice and shared decision-making.
The Inpatient Pharmacy Manager will guide clinical pharmacy programs, mentor advanced practice pharmacists, support residency development, and help maintain strong clinical competencies throughout the department.
