Position Overview
This position will be an ambassador of project management to the global community. Sharing of project management skills and knowledge along with benchmarking of best practices to improve internal processes are inherent to this role.
Position Summary :
Project Managers are responsible for initiating, planning, executing, and controlling projects associated with :
- New product development
- Product cost reduction
- Industrialization projects

Manage projects of small to medium complexity and risk levelsLead new product, process, or cost initiatives while achieving quality, timing, and cost targetsLead cross-functional teams and work with internal departments to ensure timely project completionWork with customers to ensure requirements are metEnsure proper coordination, prioritization, and communication of project objectivesDrive execution excellence using standardized project management tools and compliance to Axalta processesQualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) requiredPMP certification or equivalent preferredRequired Qualifications :
Strong manufacturing process backgroundMinimum 3 years of experience leading initiativesStrong teamwork and ability to interact with all levels of the organizationEffective oral and written communication skills, including presentation creationStrong analytical and problem-solving abilityExceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications :
Engineering, business development, or manufacturing experience (or related education)
