- Phase I of Development is focused on technical learning and development
Learn internal data systems; develop foundational technical skills
Query various internal databases to create analytical data sets which support project work; includes data cleaningReview analytical data sets to ensure figures are consistent with business performance metricsPhase II of Development is focused on building analytical acumenFormulating hypotheses and performing data analysis
Presenting results to internal team; develop findingsCollaborate with cross-functional business partner analysts to execute project workPhase III of Development is focused on relationship management skills / techniques and influencing business actions and outcomesClient relationship management

External Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Economics, or Finance and at least 1 years of experience with SAS or SQL and data management, or High School Diploma / GED and at least 4 years of experience with SAS or SQL and data managementExperience with statistical software packages such as SAS, SPSS, and R.Experience with SQLExperience with statistical concepts, data mining and data cleaning techniques.Experience with MS Office Suite.Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing / organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.Experience communicating both verbally (on phone, one-on-one, to groups) and in writing (emails, letters, reports, presentations) to various audiences (work group and team).Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.Willing to travel up to / at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).Preferred Qualifications
