As a Payment Processing Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our daily financial operations, with a focus on cash posting, billing, and accounts receivable. This position offers a balance of detailed transactional work and cross-departmental collaboration, giving you the opportunity to interact with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.

To succeed in this role, you should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. You'll need strong analytical and computer skills, as well as clear communication and time management abilities.

Job Responsibilities :

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) :

• Accurately post daily cash, credit card, and electronic fund transfer (EFT) payments
• Separate checks and stubs, and deposit checks using remote deposit capture
• Create and process refund check requests
• Handle E-check and check return processing
• Set up customers for ACH payments
• Respond to receipt requests and assist with customer billing / payment inquiries
• Process credit applications and match receipts to company credit card statements
• Collect and maintain 501(c)(3) donation letters
• Send and manage W-9 requests
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and support process improvements

The pay range for this role is :

18 - 20 USD per hour (Gary, IN)
