Logistics Customer Service Representative

Location : West Chicago, IL

Schedule : Monday – Friday | 8 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Pay Rate : $19–$20 / hour

Trova Advisory Group is currently seeking a Logistics Customer Service Representative to join our client's team in West Chicago. This role plays a key part in ensuring excellent customer support within logistics operations—managing order tracking, coordinating deliveries, and resolving service-related issues. The ideal candidate is highly organized, a strong communicator, and has previous experience in logistics, customer service, or supply chain environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to shipping and logistics.

Track, monitor, and provide updates on shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

Proactively communicate with customers regarding order delays, changes, or delivery updates.

Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse, transportation, sales, etc.) to resolve customer concerns promptly.

Accurately process orders, returns, and shipping documentation in the system.

Maintain clear and detailed records of customer interactions and shipment statuses.

Investigate and resolve issues related to shipments, billing discrepancies, or returns.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and logistics efficiency.

Ensure all logistics processes comply with company policies and transportation regulations.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

1–3 years of experience in logistics, customer service, or supply chain operations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and remain composed under pressure.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP / logistics systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.
