Position Overview

This role leads our Infrastructure Finance function for AWS’s worldwide Dedicated Cloud business. You will be expected to lead a team to deliver audacious goals, thinking strategically and managing through complexity while supporting on‑the‑ground business decisions. This is a newly scoped role and the leader will be expected to set the pace to ensure the team delivers actionable insights in a timely manner.

Your responsibilities will range from long‑term planning to near‑term results assessment, from supporting infrastructure growth opportunities to identifying and improving scaled business mechanisms. In this role you will be partnering with AWS Directors and Vice Presidents to solve complex business challenges and you will need to be comfortable communicating your point of view – live in meetings and through writing.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader who is decisive, action‑oriented, and unapologetic about having extremely high standards. We are looking for someone who can motivate, inspire, and lead a cross‑functional team. Expertise in building scalable mechanisms and continuous improvement is a plus. A proven record of delivering measurable results is a must.

This position requires that the candidate selected must be a US Citizen. While not currently required, the selected candidate will have an opportunity to obtain and maintain an active TS / SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

Basic Qualifications

• 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• Bachelor’s degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,700 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $227,700 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary because of job‑related knowledge, skills or experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
