Inventory Administrator

Job Description :

Job Title : Inventory Control Specialist Schedule : M-F Onsite 8-5 PM Contract : 6 months with possible ext. or conversion

Top 3 Skills : 2-3 Years exp in Supply Chain Strong w / Excel Reports gap analysis ERP- Oracle Stock Analysis Highlight Material Risks help with proper warehouse stock / material tracking.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain cycle counting strategies that align with company targets.

Strategize to efficiently determine and process obsolete material.

Develop and monitor program to ensure Kanban material is aligned with production volumes.

Execute daily inventory analysis; identify and resolve discrepancies and potential shortages.

Ensure maintenance and accuracy of all records related to inventory transactions; cycle counts adjustments dispositions audits etc.

Oversee stock item master identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.

Locate items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers to assist order processors.

Communicate with Purchasing Department as needed regarding new items changes of location counts etc.

Ensure milestones and goals are met.

Perform and assist with general maintenance and clean-up of warehouse.

Operate forklift as needed.

Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Inventory planning and inventory management experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management processes.

Highly organized with attention to detail.

Supply chain management knowledge is a plus.

Experience with ERP / Inventory control technical transactions.

Good written verbal reading and math skills.

Basic computer skills.
