Welder - A Shift

Express Employment Professionals is looking for an experienced MIG welder.

The position primarily involves welding large steel assemblies using a fixture. The operator must produce good quality parts while working to an hourly production rate. The welder loads, welds and unloads the fixture from a standing position. Some grinding and packing is also required. Other miscellaneous tasks may be performed.

Requirements :

3- 5 years experience MIG welding and grinding sheet metal parts, .060 - .187 inches thick steel. Candidates who are interviewed will perform a weld test that includes adjusting the welding machine as necessary.

TIG welding experience would be a plus but is not required.

Other sheet metal fabrication experience (punch press, spot-weld, brakes, Pem, etc.) would be a plus but is not required.

Must be able to read prints, do basic inspection measurement and record inspection data. Must fill out other paperwork.

A work history demonstrating a strong work ethic, good quality and good attendance performance.
