Civil Engineer

KHAFRA Engineering Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Atlanta, Georgia office. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Civil 3D, Design, and Transportation. With at least 1-5 years of experience in civil engineering, the candidate will have a proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standard. Responsibilities Lead and manage various civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Utilize Civil 3D for engineering projects. Apply principles of Engineering Design to create innovative and efficient solutions for complex engineering problems. Conduct Hydrology studies and assessments to understand the impact of water on construction projects, and develop strategies to manage these effects. Participate in Transportation Engineering tasks, including the design and planning of transportation systems within construction projects. Collaborate with other team members, including architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Conduct site inspections to ensure construction is carried out as per the design and maintaining the highest level of safety and quality. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, clients, and stakeholders. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations, and implement them in your work as appropriate. Knowledge of local standards and requirements is preferred. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in a Civil Engineering role. Proficient in Civil 3D. Experience in Transportation Engineering. Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to lead projects from conception to completion. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner. Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative approach to engineering challenges. Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
