Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and development of complex mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop intricate mechanical systems including gearing, actuators, wheels, weldments, and bearings.
- Conduct detailed engineering calculations and simulations to validate designs.
- Serve as Project Engineer, overseeing design execution, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Translate conceptual designs into detailed engineering documentation and manufacturing-ready drawings.
- Lead design reviews and collaborate with contractors, architects, consultants, and clients to resolve technical challenges.
- Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Support procurement, fabrication, and commissioning processes with clear documentation and technical guidance.
- Travel to project sites for system commissioning and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.5+ years of relevant experience (or 3+ years with a Master's degree).Proficiency in SolidWorks, GD&T, FEA, and new product development.Strong problem-solving skills with a system-level engineering mindset.Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree in Mechanical, Structural, Aerospace, or related field.E.I.T. certification or Florida P.E. license.2+ years of experience in the Amusement or Entertainment industry.Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $145,000.00 / yr.
