Architectural Designer Prefabricated Building Systems

Phoenix, Arizona | Relocation Assistance Available

Were on the hunt for a bold and technically sharp Architectural Designer ready to make their mark in the heart of the Southwest. Based in sunny Phoenix, Arizona, this role is perfect for a design enthusiast who thrives at the intersection of architecture and innovationespecially in the world of prefabricated and modular construction.

If youre someone who dreams in 3D models, speaks fluent AutoCAD and Revit, and can turn a SketchUp concept into a buildable, beautiful structure, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities :

  • Designing and developing building envelope systems for prefabricated wall panels with an emphasis on innovation, performance, and precision.
  • Creating detailed construction drawings, technical specs , and assembly instructions with BIM tools.
  • Collaborating closely with architects, structural engineers, and outside design consultants to bring large-scale architectural visions to life.
  • Working side-by-side with the manufacturing team to ensure designs transition seamlessly from screen to structure.
  • Reviewing models and drawings for quality, consistency, and constructability .
  • Leveraging tools like ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) and Procore to manage workflows and documentation.

Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in architecture, civil engineering, building, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in building envelope design.
  • Experience with AutoCAD , Revit , and SketchUp
  • Exposure to Rhino , Dynamo , or other scripting tools a plus
  • Strong knowledge of BIM processes
  • Exposure to prefabricated or modular construction is a plus.
  • Ability to manage and contribute to large-scale commercial or institutional architectural projects .
