OVERVIEW OF ROLE

Sempre Oggi is a dinner-only fine dining Italian restaurant on the Upper West Side of New York with focus on seasonality and hospitality culture. Our incredible team is committed to servicing the Upper West Side neighborhood and has a high volume of repeat and regular clientele. We offer a five day work week with opportunity to pick up extra work as needed, with reasonable shifts that are between 6 and 7 hours on average, and last reservation each night at 9 : 30PM.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES BY ASSIGNMENT

Kitchen Server :

• Running all food from the pass
• Taking Direction from servers / bartenders
• Know how to drop food open handed
• Know how to spiel the food appropriately to the guest
• Stock and restock the kitchen stations
• Clearing plates in any dining space with ease and grace
• Know how to behave in the kitchen following Kitchen Etiquette

Assistant Server :

MISE EN PLACE

As Support, you have a specific set of responsibilities when you set up and break down the DR for service as outlined in the SIDEWORK binder. This can include a variety of elements such as stocking service stations, Napkin folding, getting the DR detailed to receive guests.

SERVICE :

As a member of the Support team, you have a specific set of responsibilities in setup for service as outlined on your line-up notes & mise-en-place binder. Please familiarize yourself with the binder on a daily basis & ask a server / manager if you have any questions.
