We are searching for an experienced leader to join the Corporate Controller's team as the Associate Director of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting. This position is a cross-functional leadership role responsible for oversight of Carrier's SEC filings, complex technical accounting matters and adoption of new accounting pronouncements.

The successful candidate must be a strong, decisive, results-oriented person who can provide leadership within the SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting team and foster cross-functional partnerships. Strong management, verbal and written communication skills are required.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead Carrier's SEC reporting function, taking responsibility for complete, accurate and timely filing of all applicable SEC reports in accordance with US GAAP
• Responsible for financial information presented in earnings release and presentations, ensuring consistency with SEC filings
• Assist legal department with Proxy, Annual Report and other periodic Form 8-K filings
• Research, evaluate and prepare technical accounting memos / whitepapers and external reporting implications of complex and non-standard transactions as well as general accounting matters
• Lead cross functional project teams to implement new accounting guidance, provide training and develop required disclosures as necessary
• Own and maintain Corporate Accounting policies
• Point of contact for internal and external auditors
• Lead or be strategic team member in a variety of special projects in support of senior management, compliance activities and M&A activities
