RN Registered Nurse - Step Down Unit

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Step Down

Location : Rochester, NY

Shift : Rotating Days / Nights

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week

Duration : 13 weeks

Certifications Required : AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide care in a Medical Step Down / Pulmonary Unit.
• Manage patients requiring invasive monitoring, non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV), new tracheostomies, and ventilators with endotracheal tubes (ETT).
• Assist with transvenous pacing and monitor critical changes in patient conditions.
• Expected to float to other units as needed.
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday.
