The DT-EVS Tech will be responsible for cleaning non-occupied patient rooms. Each room requires deep cleaning, including making the bed, flipping the mattress, and thoroughly disinfecting the entire space. Additionally, the role involves cleaning isolation rooms, which requires following strict safety measures, mopping, and wearing a full gown and mask. The position requires rotating weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean non-occupied patient rooms within 20-30 minutes per room.
• Make beds, flip mattresses, and thoroughly clean and disinfect rooms.
• Place linens into large, heavy bags and dispose of them correctly.
• Clean isolation rooms while adhering to strict safety measures.
• Mop and clean isolation rooms using a string mop.
• Wear full protective gear, including gown and mask, when cleaning isolation rooms.

Work Environment

The work environment is a hospital setting where candidates primarily work independently, making self-starting abilities crucial. There is a dress code requiring no facial piercings, covered tattoos, and no heavy fragrances. The role includes rotating weekend shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.75 - $18.00 / hr.
