Regulatory Counsel

A company is looking for a Regulatory Counsel to support its Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs function. Key Responsibilities Provide legal counsel on federal and state legislative and regulatory matters affecting healthcare and pharmaceuticals Monitor and evaluate legislative and regulatory developments, educating stakeholders accordingly Draft legal memoranda and policy responses, and support advocacy for healthcare access and innovation Required Qualifications J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing 3+ years of relevant legal experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences regulatory work Strong foundation in federal and state regulatory frameworks; experience with 50-state surveys preferred Demonstrated ability to interpret and advise on proposed legislation and complex policy changes Must be based in Washington, D.C
