This role will play a key part in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting decision-making processes across our locations in Indiana, Arizona, and California . Key Responsibilities :
Financial Management & Reporting :
- Assist with month-end closing activities , including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and dashboards to provide insights into operational performance.
- Maintain and manage general ledger accounts , ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Budgeting & Forecasting :
Support the budgeting and forecasting process , working with plant leadership to analyze financial data.Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to help drive financial efficiency.Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial forecasts.Accounts Payable & Receivable :
Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee expense reports , ensuring timely and accurate payments.Monitor accounts receivable and assist in collections efforts as needed.Work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies .Inventory & Cost Control :
Support inventory management and cost accounting , ensuring accurate financial reporting.Conduct cost analysis for products and manufacturing processes to improve financial efficiency.Assist in the review and reconciliation of cycle counts and inventory adjustments .Compliance & Internal Controls :
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial policies .Assist in internal audits and external financial audits , providing necessary documentation and explanations.Maintain proper internal controls to mitigate financial risks and enhance operational efficiency.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with operations, purchasing, and leadership teams to improve financial processes.Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for key business initiatives.Assist in special projects, including process improvements and system enhancements .Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field .2+ years of accounting experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment .Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements .Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly preferred.Advanced Excel skills , including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling .Ability to analyze financial data and translate it into actionable insights.Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills .Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines .Experience with job costing, sales tax, and business insurance is a plus.Why Join Masterbilt Inc.?
