Diagnose, repair and maintain residential and light‑commercial heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC / R) systems while ensuring code compliance, energy‑efficient operation and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults; test circuits and components with meters.
Repair / replace compressors, motors, valves, thermostats and associated wiring.
Perform charging, recovery and leak‑repair of refrigerants in line with EPA 608.
Braze / solder tubing; fabricate or install ducts, vents and drain lines.
Document work orders, parts used and recommendations; explain findings to clients.
Adhere to OSHA / Texas safety regulations and company quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Texas Registered ACR Technician (or ability to obtain) plus
EPA 608 Universal certification.
2+ yrs field service experience; ability to read schematics / blueprints.
Proficiency with gauges, recovery machines, vacuum pumps and basic hand tools.
Valid driver’s license, clean MVR and ability to lift 50 lbs.
