We’re on the hunt for a Manager of Financial Quality Assurance & Audit to elevate our financial operations, drive best-in-class audit practices, and be a strategic partner in strengthening internal controls, risk management, and financial reporting across the organization.

What You’ll Do :
- Own the Audit Process : Develop and lead internal audit strategies across business units and departments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Strengthen Internal Controls : Evaluate and refine financial systems and controls to prevent errors, fraud, and inefficiencies.
- Champion Financial Quality : Build and maintain quality assurance frameworks that ensure precision in our books and transparency for our stakeholders.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Partner with operational and corporate leaders to provide advisory support and improve financial processes.
- Lead with Influence : Mentor and guide accounting and finance team members, fostering a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, and accountability.
- Support External Audits : Serve as the bridge between Polk and external auditors, ensuring seamless coordination and top-tier reporting.
- Drive Innovation : Challenge the status quo. Recommend process improvements, smarter tools, and more agile practices to stay ahead of the curve.
What You Bring :
Education : Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. CPA, CIA, or similar credential preferred.Experience : 7+ years in financial auditing or quality assurance (including 2+ years in a leadership role). Bonus points for Big 4 / top 25 public accounting experience and / or work in the construction or MEP industry.Expertise in : GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, and financial systems. You speak fluent audit and can translate risk into results.Soft Skills : Meticulous. Strategic. Adaptable. A born problem solver with strong communication and analytical chops.Why Polk?
