Role :

This role supports Corporate Multi-Unit (CMU) or Healthcare & Senior Living business by managing the customer relationship locally, with the expectation of enhancing the customer experience. This position is responsible for building relationships with new and existing accounts. The focus is to provide excellent customer support to Sysco customers and ensure last mile issue resolution.

Role Responsibilities :

  • Manages assigned customers / concepts and handles last mile activities to ensure customer receives product timely and accurately.
  • Monitors proprietary stock keeping units (SKUs) and promotional items ensuring adequate inventory and minimum movement requirements. Works with customers to clear slow moving or dead inventory
  • Works with Merchandising department to communicate upcoming promotional inventory, new listings, increased / decreased inventory pulls and plans for slow moving / dead inventory.
  • Communicates with customers to advise of bid changes and pricing inaccuracies.
  • Works in collaboration with the Transportation department to determine the best options for delivery windows, prospective night drop locations and communicating customer concerns.
  • Identifies operational inefficiencies by balancing work week, limiting same day / off day deliveries, assessing back orders, reducing deliveries, and increasing order size.
  • Liaises with Connect and communicates with customer regarding items such as prod credit, special orders, etc.
  • Utilizes Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool for account management which includes managing tasks, communicating across selling team, ensure customer data is accurate.
  • Skillfully navigates challenging conversations with internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for appropriate escalation as needed.
  • Utilizes CRM tool (Sysco 360) as communication and measurement tool.
  • Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their supervisor.
  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills / Job Requirements (About you) :

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in related industry / field, food service experience is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in business, hotel / restaurant or marketing / sales preferred, combination of experience and education considered.
  • Ability to build customer loyalty by developing productive customer relationships.
  • A client service and sales focus; confidentiality, integrity, and respect in all interactions.
  • Must possess excellent computer skills and have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills using negotiation processes and gaining agreement with others.
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset.

    Sommaire du poste  :

    Le titulaire de ce poste soutient les clients à emplacements multiples et les clients des soins de santé et résidences pour aînés en gérant la relation avec les clients au niveau local, le tout dans le but d’améliorer l’expérience client. La personne occupant ce poste est responsable d’établir des relations avec les nouveaux comptes et les comptes existants. L’objectif est d’offrir un excellent soutien aux clients de Sysco et d’assurer la résolution des problèmes du « dernier kilomètre ».

    Responsabilités du poste  :

  • Gère les clients et les concepts assignés et les activités du dernier kilomètre pour s’assurer que les clients reçoivent les produits en temps opportun et avec exactitude.
  • Surveille les SKU exclusifs et les articles promotionnels en s’assurant que les stocks sont adéquats et que les exigences en matière de quantité minimale de commande sont respectées. Collabore avec les clients pour écouler les stocks qui se vendent peu ou pas.
  • Collabore avec le service de mise en marché pour communiquer les stocks promotionnels à venir, les nouvelles mises en liste, les ajustements de stocks (augmentations / diminutions) et les plans pour les stocks qui se vendent peu ou pas.
  • Communique avec les clients pour les informer des changements apportés aux soumissions et des inexactitudes sur les prix.
  • Travaille en collaboration avec le service du transport pour déterminer les meilleures options pour les périodes de livraison, pour communiquer les préoccupations des clients et les emplacements potentiels pour les livraisons de nuit.
  • Identifie les inefficacités opérationnelles en équilibrant la semaine de travail, en limitant les livraisons le jour même ou les jours non prévus de livraison, en évaluant les commandes en souffrance, en réduisant les livraisons et en augmentant la taille des commandes.
  • Assure la liaison avec l’équipe Connect et communique avec le client pour tout ce qui touche aux articles, comme les crédits sur les produits, les commandes spéciales, etc.
  • Utilise l’outil de gestion des relations avec la clientèle (CRM) pour la gestion des comptes, qui comprend notamment la gestion des tâches, la communication au sein de l’équipe des ventes et la vérification de l’exactitude des données sur les clients.
  • Parcourt habilement les conversations difficiles avec les intervenants internes et externes. Assume la responsabilité des recours hiérarchiques appropriés, au besoin.
  • Utilise l’outil de gestion des relations avec la clientèle (Sysco 360) comme outil de communication et d’évaluation.
  • Se conforme aux procédures et à la politique de Sysco en matière de sécurité alimentaire pour assurer le respect des exigences en matière de qualité, de légalité et de salubrité des aliments.
  • Travaille de façon sécuritaire avec un impact minimal sur l’environnement et comprend l’importance de signaler immédiatement à son superviseur tous les dangers, incidents et déversements nocifs pour l’environnement.
  • Comprend l'importance de sa propre sécurité, de celle de ses collègues, et de signaler les dangers présents.

  • Qualifications / Compétences / Exigences du poste (ce que vous possédez)  :

  • Minimum de 1 an d'expérience dans un secteur ou un domaine connexe; expérience dans le domaine des services alimentaires, un atout.
  • Diplôme postsecondaire en affaires, en hôtellerie, en marketing ou en ventes, de préférence; combinaison d’expérience et de formation considérée.
  • Capacité à fidéliser la clientèle en établissant des relations productives avec elle.
  • Accent mis sur le service à la clientèle et les ventes; confidentialité, intégrité et respect dans toutes les interactions.
  • Excellentes compétences informatiques et maîtrise intermédiaire de Microsoft Office, notamment Word, Excel, PowerPoint et Outlook.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication, notamment à utiliser les processus de négociation et à obtenir l’accord des autres.
