The Parts Distribution Center Supervisor will be expected to supervise, coach, mentor, and develop highly functioning work teams, comprised of team leaders and team members.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Provide a safe, secure, and engaging work environment that fosters team member involvement and creativity
- Embrace and practice FCA's Leadership Principles in World Class Logistics (WCL)
- Coordinate activities, ensure compliance that meets and exceeds the Parts Distribution Center customer KPI's, related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, and Environmental
- Provide feedback, coaching, and training to associates as needed
- Analyze root causes and execute countermeasures for daily work challenges while implementing safe work practices and preventative countermeasures
- Utilize kaizen activities to drive continuous process improvements
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety with team members, peers, and senior management
Basic Qualifications :
High School diploma or GED3+ years of relevant experience and / or bachelor’s degreeAbility to work any shift and overtime as requiredExcellent organizational, written and oral communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customersAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyMust have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite software programsPreferred Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in technical fieldManufacturing supervisory experienceDemonstrated ability to coach / mentor / develop team membersExperience working in a union environmentStrong background in LEAN manufacturing systems
