Project Scheduler Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Scheduler Intern to join our team at our Denver-area office. This internship provides hands-on experience in project scheduling and controls within a dynamic engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) environmentideal for students pursuing a degree in engineering, construction management, or related fields.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Support project managers and project controls staff with the development of scheduling documents and reports.
  • Assist in preparing weekly schedule updates, look-ahead schedules, and basic schedule analysis.
  • Learn and assist with schedule impact evaluations, earned value tracking, and resource reporting under supervision.
  • Help develop initial proposal and project schedules in scheduling software.
  • Collaborate with estimating and project teams to understand project timelines and contribute to scheduling input.
  • Attend internal meetings and assist in preparing presentation materials for client meetings.
  • Provide general administrative and technical support to project teams and management.
  • Assist with maintaining scheduling standards and processes within the department.

Qualifications :

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Construction Management, Engineering (Electrical / Civil / Mechanical / Industrial), Project Management, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of project scheduling or interest in learning scheduling tools such as Primavera P6.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred (but not required) :

  • Prior internship or project experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination.
  • Exposure to CPM (Critical Path Method) scheduling concepts.
  • Familiarity with construction drawings or contracts.
  • Benefits and Pay : $21 - $27, hourly dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies.
