The Survey CAD Designer is responsible for transforming field data and survey notes into accurate and detailed CAD drawings and maps. This role supports surveyors, engineers, architects, and project managers by preparing boundary, topographic, ALTA / NSPS, and construction survey deliverables using modern drafting techniques and software. There is the opportunity to work remotely or in any of our North Carolina offices.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and revise survey drawings, plats, and exhibits based on field data, sketches, and project requirements.
• Import and process raw survey data from GPS, total stations, and other field instruments.
• Generate base maps, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, ALTA / NSPS surveys, and construction staking drawings.
• Ensure all survey drawings meet company and client standards, as well as applicable state and local regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, survey crews, and engineers to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the drafting process.
• Maintain organized electronic files and drawing standards across multiple projects.
• Perform quality control checks on drawings and data prior to submittal.
• Stay current with CAD standards, software updates, and surveying technologies.
