Independence Rehab is actively looking to hire a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for Emerald Valley Assisted Living in Eugene. In this role you will provide OT services to residents on-site. You will also have opportunity to help build the caseload by working closely with the Executive Director, Wellness Director, and caregivers.

You should anticipate working 5-10 hours per week. As the caseload grows, we expect this position may grow into full-time in the future!

Here are a few SNF practice-specific items :

• Occasionally treating clinically complex patients
• Proficient with all types of transfers
• Provide adaptive ADL re-training

If you need help with any of the above competencies, we are happy to provide competency training!

No specific number of hours are required to maintain employment. We have multiple facilities near this location, which may provide opportunities for you to pick up additional PRN hours, as desired.

Our preference is a therapist who has worked at least one year in a skilled nursing facility, but if you are caring, passionate, licensed therapist who enjoys the geriatric population, we would love to hear from you!
