Job Summary

Coordinate and provide daily operational oversight of various research-related projects including clinical trials under the supervision of multiple principal investigators. Daily operational oversight of clinical trials will involve regular monitoring of progress in relation to scope of work, agreed budget, and delegation of responsibilities to appropriately trained personnel from startup to project completion. Clinical research responsibilities include, but not are limited to, regulatory monitoring, protocol adherence, staff guidance, sponsor relations, resource allocation and prioritization, budget tracking, delegation of research activities, and safety reporting. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing duties as delegated by principal investigators in a fast-paced, clinical environment with strong attention to details.

Essential Functions :

  • Coordinates research activities on multiple projects including clinical trials. May provide guidance to staff conducting activities while monitoring for compliance with protocol, regulatory and Denver Health policies. (30%)
  • Confirms protocol eligibility and subject confidentiality, while treating participants with courtesy, dignity, empathy and respect though all verbal and non-verbal communications. (30%)
  • Conduct data management activities including mentoring and monitoring team performance. Confirm data protections are in place in compliance with protocols. (20%)
  • Coordinates research administration activities, including development of study and regulatory materials, protocols and procedures. Trains and coaches junior team members in research and protocol activities and acts as the escalation point of contact for study team and participants. (10%)
  • Assists with financial administration activities, including budget preparation, purchasing / contracting and monitoring expenditures against budget. (10%)

Education :

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

  • 4-6 years related experience Required
